Could satan have found out what god`s plan was?

for man and then that was the reason for his rebellion and wanting to overthrow god?....maybe satan thought that it was rather cruel to send people to an everlasting hell for not believing and living for around 70 or so years.....70 years and then an eternity of hell....what a threat to follow a god
