What kan i do about my hair? easy 10 pts!!!!!!!!?

i use garnier fructis length and strength shampoo and conditioner every other day and i use a leave in conditoner. well one day i ran out of my shampoo and conditoner, and i had to use herbal essences body envy. bad mistake! it made my split end free hair break and split like ive never seen before! im hopefully getting a trim soon, but wut kan i do now to get rid of some of them befor i get it trimmed? theres split ends every where not just on the bottom. i have layers and theyre everywhere!!!! please help! thnx =) (btw- never use body envy unless u want ur hair to look like a fricken cactus!)
