Girls: When a man insists on keeping you?

I would feel bad that he felt he could not be true to himself first. I would tell him I need him to stand strong in his own beliefs and treat me with kindness, but thorough honesty even if he thinks I wouldn't always like the honesty. I would want to love the REAL him, not who is trying to be in order to not lose me, that's desparation, not true love.
