Atheists: have you considered how difficult it can be to deny religion?

Many religious people have been indoctrinated from their birth. They may have family ties to think about, as well as social orders. By acknowledging religion as unnecessary and perhaps dangerous they risk isolation, ridicule or even further pestering from other religious people who are not prepared to allow people to leave their cults and organised religions so easily.
